Building Fund

The Post’s former facility at 518 Water Street was purchased in 1955. It was remodeled several times but was no longer adequate to serve the needs of the community. Post and Auxiliary members voted overwhelmingly to raze the current facility and build a new structure on the same site.

A new 5,500 square foot building with a capacity of up to 230 persons is available for meetings, events and hall rentals.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we paid off $1,240,000 in just under three years. The building is paid in full!
